The methodology did not come from a textbook. It came from a life.
I did not set out to build a methodology. I set out to survive.
In 2013, two years after my mother’s sudden death, I received a cancer diagnosis. My father died two years later. I was in the middle of a marriage that was dissolving, a South Asian woman living in California with two young children, trying to hold together a life that was coming apart faster than I could reassemble it. The cancer was in my throat. Of course it was. The body speaks what we cannot.
Up to this point, I had been doing transformational work for years, astrology, psychology, meditation. None of it had given me a map for finding my own path, my way forward. So I went deeper, and then deeper still, until I found the combination of frameworks that finally told the truth about what was happening and why, and, more importantly, what came next. That combination evolved to become the MAP: My Aligned Path™ Protocol.
That decade remade me. I came out of it as myself, fully, for the first time. As a lesbian, which I had known for years and never had the space to say out loud. This was a version I had been moving toward without knowing it but had carried quietly for a long time. And I came out as a practitioner whose methodology was not handed to her in a certification. It was earned.
I am South Asian, an immigrant who spent the first half of my life in India and half in the United States. I have led complex human initiatives at a major technology company. I have reinvented myself more than once. None of it is wasted.
Intrinsically, I bridge two different cultures and spiritual mindsets. I grew up with an Eastern philosophy-oriented spiritual tradition, grounded in the understanding that we are the witness, not the story. And I have naturally aligned to the Western experiential mindset of agency and intention in shaping our own path. The MAP Protocol lives exactly at that intersection.
I hold a master’s in Evolutionary Astrology. A certification in Psychosynthesis. I have been blessed to learn from living legend Steven Forrest, and from other masters like Jeffrey Wolf Green and Roberto Assagioli. What emerged was not a hybrid or a blend, and it was not intentional in the way curricula are intentional. It came from living inside these traditions long enough that they stopped being separate and became a single way of seeing.
